Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Modscraft mobile application (package name com.modscraft.mcpemods), the website at https://modscraftwp.gokhas.site/, and related services (together, the “Service”).

The Service is operated by Modscraft (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. What Modscraft is

Modscraft is a catalog and download helper for Minecraft Bedrock / Minecraft Pocket Edition (PE) community content, including addons, maps, shaders, skins, and texture packs.

The Service lets you:

  • browse, search, save, rate, and share content listings;
  • preview descriptions and images;
  • download pack files to a folder you choose (typically Minecraft’s games/com.mojang folder on Android);
  • optionally purchase PRO to remove ads and skip rewarded ads before downloads.

Modscraft is not Minecraft, does not include Minecraft, and does not replace Minecraft. You need a separately licensed copy of Minecraft Bedrock (the Play Store app, package name com.mojang.minecraftpe) to import and play downloaded files. Education Edition and Java Edition are different products and will not import these files.

Minecraft, Mojang, and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Modscraft is an independent fan-oriented catalog. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or any of their affiliates.

You must comply with Minecraft’s own license, EULA, and in-game rules. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in Minecraft or other third-party intellectual property.

3. Eligibility and age

The Service is intended for users 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.

If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for any purchases made on your Google account, including purchases made by minors using that account.

4. License to use the app

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Modscraft on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play’s terms.

You may not:

  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the app except where applicable law expressly allows it;
  • rent, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit the Service;
  • bypass, disable, or interfere with security, ads, billing, or access controls;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or republish our catalog, listings, or metadata without our prior written permission;
  • use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, or illegal content.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Content in the catalog

Listings in Modscraft (titles, descriptions, images, file links, version notes, and pack files) may come from us, from community creators, or from third-party sources we index or host.

We do not claim ownership of Minecraft, of Mojang/Microsoft intellectual property, or of third-party pack files unless we expressly say otherwise.

Packs are provided as-is for use inside a legitimately obtained copy of Minecraft Bedrock. Availability, file names, versions, screenshots, and compatibility can change or be removed at any time.

You understand and agree that:

  • a listing is not a guarantee that a pack will import, remain compatible with your Minecraft version, or behave as described;
  • some packs require Experimental Features, a new world, or both Resource Packs and Behavior Packs to be enabled;
  • files may fail, be outdated, be incomplete, or conflict with other packs;
  • we may remove, replace, or refuse to distribute any listing without notice, including for legal, safety, or quality reasons.

If you believe a listing infringes your rights, see Section 12.

6. Downloads, storage, and Minecraft folders

When you download content, the file is saved to a folder you select through Android’s folder picker. The recommended folder is Minecraft’s games/com.mojang tree so packs can be imported. You may instead choose another writable folder (for example Downloads); in that case the file is stored as-is, without automatic Minecraft integration.

By granting folder access, you authorize Modscraft to create and write pack files in that location. We do not need, and you should not grant, access to unrelated folders.

You are responsible for:

  • choosing the correct folder;
  • keeping enough free storage;
  • backing up worlds and packs you care about;
  • enabling imported packs in Minecraft world settings;
  • any effect a pack has on your worlds, performance, or device.

We are not responsible for lost worlds, corrupted saves, or Minecraft import failures.

7. Ads

Unless you have an active PRO entitlement, the Service may show advertisements, including banners, interstitials, app-open ads, and rewarded ads (including a rewarded ad before some downloads). Ads are provided by third parties such as Google AdMob and are subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

You can manage certain ad privacy choices in the app’s Ad privacy settings (where available) and in your device or Google account settings.

Watching a rewarded ad, if required for a download, does not transfer ownership of the pack to you beyond the limited use described in these Terms, and does not make that download a paid product.

8. PRO purchases, subscriptions, and billing

Paid features are sold through Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in the app and charged to the Google account used on the device.

8.1 Monthly subscription

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or the equivalent screen on your device.

Canceling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current period unless Google Play’s refund rules or applicable law require it. After the paid period ends, ads and download-ad prompts return.

8.2 Lifetime purchase

Lifetime PRO is a one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. “Lifetime” means for the life of the Modscraft service on the Google account that completed the purchase, not a guarantee that the app, catalog, or any particular pack will exist forever.

8.3 Restore, accounts, and devices

PRO is tied to the Google account that made the purchase. Use Restore purchase in the app if you reinstall Modscraft or change devices while signed into the same account.

We cannot move a purchase to a different Google account. Family Library sharing, if offered by Google, is governed by Google’s rules, not by extra rights in these Terms.

8.4 Refunds

Refunds, billing disputes, and payment methods are handled by Google Play, not by charging us directly. Request a refund through Google Play’s refund or order history tools, subject to Google’s policies and consumer law that applies to you.

Purchasing PRO does not buy Minecraft, does not buy ownership of catalog packs, and does not guarantee that any specific listing will remain available.

9. User ratings, comments, and conduct

If you submit ratings, comments, nicknames, or other feedback, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content in connection with the Service.

You agree not to post or use the Service to:

  • harass, threaten, or impersonate others;
  • upload unlawful, pornographic, hateful, or infringing material;
  • spam, scrape, or manipulate ratings;
  • attempt unauthorized access to our systems, other users, or Minecraft services;
  • violate export, sanctions, or other applicable laws.

We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.

10. Community and third-party links

The Service may link to our website, Telegram (https://t.me/modscraft-app), Google Play, advertisers, or other third-party sites. Those services are not under our control. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you leave Modscraft.

11. Intellectual property

The Modscraft name, app design, logos we created, software, and original catalog presentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Downloading a pack does not transfer copyright in that pack to you. You may use downloaded files only for personal gameplay in a legitimate copy of Minecraft Bedrock, unless the pack author grants broader rights.

You may not redistribute our app, scrape our catalog for a competing service, or present Modscraft content as your own product.

12. Copyright complaints (DMCA-style notice)

If you are a rights holder and believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes:

  1. your name, address, and contact email;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work;
  3. the exact listing URL, pack name, or other location in Modscraft;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices via the contact methods in Section 18. We may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL PACKS, LISTINGS, DOWNLOADS, AND GUIDES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • packs will be compatible with your device or Minecraft version;
  • descriptions, images, file sizes, or version labels are complete or current;
  • ads, third-party SDKs, or Google Play will always function.

Use of Minecraft, imported packs, and folder permissions is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DEVELOPERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST WORLDS, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DOWNLOADED CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PRO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS (USD $10).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is prohibited.

15. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Service, your downloaded files, your user submissions, or your violation of these Terms or of third-party rights (including Mojang/Microsoft and pack authors).

16. Changes, availability, and termination

We may update the app, catalog, prices, PRO benefits, or these Terms. Material changes to these Terms will be posted at https://modscraftwp.gokhas.site/terms-of-service and/or in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or your access, at any time, including if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law or by a platform (Google Play).

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and, if applicable, canceling your subscription in Google Play.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that Google Play’s terms govern the payment contract between you and Google.

If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence may also apply and are not overridden where it would be unlawful to do so.

Courts of Istanbul, Turkey shall have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer venue rights you may have.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganization or sale of the Service. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior oral or written terms on the same subject.

These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship with you, with Mojang, or with Microsoft.
